Not true, the first gouraud on A500 was done in 1989 by the games company Imageworks. The loader screen of their game "Interphase" had a gouraud cube which was even dithered and looked much cooler than the gouraud in this 40K.

I liked to watch that cube Graham. I've checked 2 versions of the game but it seems that it was removed from the original. Otherwise the game got nice dithered lighting.

I do wonder sometimes, when the second object after the cube comes in, the UFO, with the gouraud,. a blue raster goes up and hides it, like we have seen a second of it,. it doesn't stay so that you really get it. Is it some kind of trick where we're gonna show very few frames to trick you because it's really precalcs per frame? I don't understand sometimes why few demos show a specific thing for such sort time like you don't want us to see it.
