Marking them as OCS/ECS is a convenient way to state that they do.
Marking all configs a demo will run on is just tedious (OCS/ECS/AGA/020/030/040/1.3/2.0/3.0/WinUAE/Minimig?), and there's no point in making an exception for ECS in particular. - Yeah, I wonder why ECS keeps getting mentioned in the Amiga community at all. Virtually nothing has ever required ECS, it's either OCS or AGA.
