- 32b Commodore 64 S.E.T.I.
- Nice effect. But there's a missed opportunity: the file name should've been "EXTRATERRESTRIAL INTELLIGENCE".

- 512b ZX Spectrum The Dove of Peace We All Need by Joker [web]
- I missed the 512b compo, but this one was very nice. We could definitely use more peace doves in the world.

- demo Amiga OCS/ECS Inhuman Defender by Five Finger Punch
- After winning last year's compo, we had some people complaining that the demo was too long and slow. That's why this demo starts with single frames of each effect, and then goes on to show them in a fast pace.
I'm thumbing this up as I wasn't involved in it, apart from coming up with the idea of making something fast-paced to shut the complainers up. All this awesome work was done by Morbid, Corel and Maze. - rulezadded on the 2025-02-04 09:35:39
- wild Windows Impulse Goes to GERP 2025 by Impulse [web]
- Very cool tech choice! Sixel has existed since the 70's, but it seems to finally be getting some traction. Nice to see Windows Terminal supports it while many other terminals don't.

- 1k Amstrad CPC Conscience
- Very good looking plasma! One of my favorites from the 1K (a.k.a. bloatware) compo.

- 32b ZX Spectrum Xor Or Not To Xor by Joker [web]
- Very cool! This one looks different each time you run it (depending on timing), so it's even got variation.

- 4k Commodore 64 Zebra for Nothing by Sys5 [web]
- Nice procedurally generated graphics and text. The file size wasn't apparent at the party unfortunately.

- Platform thumb!

- intro Sinclair QL SMFXTeamet by SMFX
- Impressive with all that stuff moving on the screen; the QL has higher resolution than its CPU is ready to handle. Cool oldschool demo for this terrible but strangely alluring machine.

- demo ZX Spectrum Beyond Sea Level by Five Finger Punch

This was nice. Liked most the stuff after loading.. similar what they always do with C64 demos ;)
Thanks for noticing! I like those things in C64 demos too but I haven't seen it much on other platforms. - isokadded on the 2023-07-10 10:36:19
