Mouse mat!? Lots of time ago i dropped mine to the trashcan (just about when i purchased my optical mouse).
And fuck no! i don't think i need another shit eater, sliding surface under my hand.

naaah ... i have an optical mouse but i still use a mouse mat cos its nice :)

at the moment i have a usb laptop plug-in pen graphics pen and mouse with one of those mats with holes in so the pen can pick-it-up

I've got an optimal mouse and need a mouse mat 'coz it doesn't work on white glossy surfaces like my desk :\

That's why I got back to classic ball mouse ;)

and that's why i've got one of these black mousepads, light and slippery as hell.

gee, i never got the concept of mouse pads. atm I'm using an old folder as a mousepad, and it works perfectly.

i got no mouse but a pad on my laptop
