Problem:
Cursor wont be replayed in Firefox 1.5.0.3 on OsX, original cursors are still there so i got an arrow + amiga pointer and when it all hangs (as when fetching data) i get ordinary cursors.

It's very slick and cute and all, but it's very annoying to wait for about 30 seconds to even get the format-folder open (and any other for that matter). Usability over anything :p
WTF?!
30 seconds ?
there's a big problems, because on my computer i just have to wait less than 1 seconds or 2...
please tell me what system/browser do you use !

but when kryps can code his own site whitout errors then maybe he can speak at all...
Firefox 1.5.0.3 on Windows XP on a lousy 900MHz Duron with 768MB of RAM (Although being very outdated, I think still should be capable for browsing the www ;)
teel: I have a similar config and it's fairly enough to do web stuffs. That was a bit painfull to code neja on it though :p
It's clear that o/ is jealous of titan, as he 'continues' to flame 'all' of titan, not only in the voting of our prods but here as well. I guess now we all wonder when he'll grow up, and simply stfu, lol.
wonderful stuff. I dont even care who wrote the juggler code - I remember that demo warmly and so your site raised a smile -thanks.
hei hei people

the shell is REALLY buggy with "find as you type" :/
shell was nice! The only bad thing was that when I typed backspace firefox decided to go back to the previous page. :-)
Great but on a MAC Intel Imac 1,83 GHz, 1,5GB RAM with MAC OS X 10.4.6 and Firefox Intel 1.5.0.2, enter the shell, type long command to saturate the buffer like "Please put everything in FAST R" and push enter, after some time you'll get back to pouet. I've checked 3 times and 3 times it did it. So you got to resign (without word play) but Amiga isn't emulable!!! :) Anyway try to set the DTD to what HTML dialect you use (xhtml, or anything else) and be prepared to hack a lot because if it comes from javascript then you'll have tons of code to write: firefox don't handle js as others browser do like IE for example. On Safari this bug is not present.
Last letters are spaced and the very last are wiped once entered.
However good job.

EY, the Shell wont commit sys commands :/ ...naawww...great gimmick :D
ep: yep, i know the liner is fully bugged :)
the main bug is because the client get "backspace" to do an history.back... btw i will fix everything in the future of course, remember the site isn't finished and i open a thread here to get some feedback and (perhaps) advices or ideas..
My main computer is now a cute iBook G4, so you can imagine i fully tested my site on all the browser i can get :)
The site works fine on Firefox 1.5 (win/osx), IE6 (win), Safari (osx)...
... and there's less than 10 lines of different code to make it work everywhere !
For the moment the biggest problem is with Opera, because the navigator.<> commands return "Internet Explorer" when you are on Opera and i need to use the "Firefox" xmlhttprequest code...
Anyway, Thanks for the comment :)

rez, rez, rez: you should NEVER do browser detection but feature detection. A userAgent string is way too easy to change/fake. For years Opera had to identify itself as IE ( it's not the case anymore in O9 ) because of the incompetence of some web developers to do feature detection. Some functionnalities of their websites only worked if the UA claimed to be IE. Braaaaaaaaaiiiiins!
Check Jim Ley's article on Using the XML HTTP Request object. All you need is the method to instanciate an XMLHttpRequest object. The rest works pretty much the same in every browsers.
Nonetheless, to make sure XHR will be implemeted the same in the future, the W3C has published a working draft of the XMLHttpRequest object.

I thought the Blipp Blopp link would take me to TMB's Blibb Blobb site though, instead it took me to the w3.org validator :-)

well,
everything seems to work well now, the data loading too !
the only one (big) problem is the page don't want to load with Opera but Poï give me the solution some post above.
I updated the site with new chiptunes today, you can download the last pack by clicking on the direct link (icon "Update").
71 new chippies for your ears !
The site is near to be released now :)
