I think if someone produces a small intro, it's kindof logical nowadays that it will end up on pouet, so in that matter i doubt you will be able to gather any intros that's NOT on pouet :/

Download counter on HardCode has just reached 256. Thanks to all downloaders, I hope you enjoy this project as much as me.

Each of them is a bit bigger than 4096 bytes.

I'm also interesting where are all 256B prods released on Quast'98. In fact I'm interesting in any small intro which is absent on HardCode.

If you're on it, you can also separate the ones that have available source code :)

xernobyl, sorry, but I don't think it's a good idea. There were various suggestions about sorting intros - by groups, by release date or party - but I can't comply all of them without making a chaos. In my opinion present sorting mode, by size/platform, is the best solution.
Many intros have source included, that's make HardCode a big treasury of hardcoding knowledge. And if you want to view source of the smallest prods which haven't it - disassemble them.

After a long holiday I've improved HardCode, at last. You can get updated collection with all new intros, some old were added too, and with some small corrections. I've prepared also "Unclean area", please view bottom of the page. Maybe someone helps with reducing quantity of "unclean" intros and with improving HardCode? Probably my project isn't very popular, I don't see any links except Grenhald's homepage (thanks Grenhald!), I don't receive any mails, but I hope some people really enjoy this collection.

wasn't this the intro that weeded through the hard drive for some Broncs demo and displayed a picture from one of the datafiles? some disassembly might help...

Gargaj, you right, I know it, screenshot is on Broncs site. Many people use avast, which didn't allow to download HardCode archive witchout alerts, I saw it was very troublesome, so the intro went to Unclean area.

I guess since the code is self-decrypting and seeks thru the HDD, it's worthy enough for a couple of alerts :)

I've found something very interesting - the smallest, single-floppy Linux distribution called a-Linux. I was suprised when I saw its README file:

The smallest Linux intro in HardCode is glPong1K (1020 bytes), the rest are in 4KB section. I would see these intros from a-Linux, but the problem is that when I make an a-Linux bootdisk (by using DOS program RAWRITE) and try to boot it - my computer freezes, black screen and blinking keyboard leds. Also I can't check floppy's contents. What's wrong? And are there any small Linux intros around?
