This time it's not a graphics-related compo, but a compo about implementing and optimizing an algorithm that solves Sudoku puzzles. We are interested in suggestions for the next compos, feel free to join the Hugi-Compo mailing list and post your ideas: Simply send an (empty) mail to hugi-compo-subscribe@yahoogroups.com.

Hmm,. what a coincidence. I had to finish a Sudoku exercise for a girl, but that was in Java and I never finished it properly (her teacher wanted to connect some abstract classes to it plus several more requirements and even write a report on the complexity of the algorithm, which SHE had to explain in the class for Monday. Ugh..)

Perhaps I'll try something for this competition. Never took part in any of the previous ones..

another coincidence: the day before my little brother came with a sudoku puzzle and claimed noone can solve it. (it took 2 minutes heheh)
even another coincidence: the word "Sul" in portuguese means south, "do" means from and ku is similar to "cu", which means ass. so, sudoku could be something like "Ass's South" or "South from the Ass" which is a great title for a porn movie or a jumalauta demo.

wowhat?
To accept helping a girl?
To finally not help her?
To solve Sudoku puzzles in Java by connecting to an abstract class?
Or? ;/
