fix me beautifull

category: general [glöplog]
Stingray: I assume it was under the correct group but with wrong spelling. The two previously existing entries are combined together like coma/kooma.
MadenMann: wrong, there's no CarillIon, it's Carillon, without i! :)

Hmm, I think I misunderstood you. :) Anyway, fix the bad spelling please and remove the CarillIon group because it's evil. :D

Crash 1997 Invite #1
http://pouet.net/prod.php?which=22145

Sorry, I accidentally set the party invite id to 221 (CENSOR Party) instead of 211 (Crash)!

I'll make sure to double check from now on... :/

done
heh so... we have carillon prods under cncd, cyberiad prods under cncd, but separate entries for tristar, red sector inc, and tristar & red sector inc, as well as dual crew, shining, and dual crew & shining? :)

Thanks for the quick response! Ah.. I also see that if it's an invite, it doesn't need a party release date then either. :)

In that case, I've also botched up the other two invites as well:

Sorry, adding an invite wasn't too clear about what was and wasn't needed (>_<)

bpoint: no problem.
reed: feel free to suggest some joins.
i'm not sure how to handle this, especially since the "new" tristar appeared :) for the more obvious cases, it's not really an "aka" like complex/komplex, is it?

Hi.

can you maybe link those parties together as the one was the follow-up slightly renamed:

Intercon

and

Interjam

Our favourite Portugese Scener will do that coz he has the power! Thx for adding the Interjam'98 releases. ;)
Reed: word!

FYI, not only was there a Carillon before the CNCD merge, but nowadays Heatbeat has decided to release his stuff as plain Carillon too. Why? No idea, ask the man himself. I think it should be up to the authors to decide what labels their work is released under, not a database. At least 13716, 11360 and 12231 should be under Carillon, not CNCD.

No good? Fine with me, but to be consistent you should then merge Dual Crew, Shining and DCS too. As well as Rebels and Movement. And how about Overload, Phalanx and Complex/Komplex? Hey, what about moving all the stuff the Lemon people did in Anarchy under Lemon instead! It's the same people!

The last was already under Karillon (is the K even correct? who changed the name?), the other two are now set to that name.
As far as I can tell Karillon and Carillon are the same :)

Erm, group. ;)

OMG, please get a clue. The only thing we talked about is a merge-alike connection in the database between the groups. The prods are still under the correct group name (when they were set correctly). That was made to allow easier browsing for the user. You don't have to wonder if a prod (you forgot the name of it) was done by coma or kooma, you just go on the group page and find all of them. The same goes for complex/komplex. According to exotica carillon only existed for about a year, why shouldn't it be allowed to find these prods at the CNCD page as well?

Since we have to keep the fuck you I've tried to use some insults in that statement. Ignore 'em, if that makes your live bettar.
weelll... break has leading, having separate entries for the separate groups (and the merged group as well) seems fine to me.

if we must merge something, i'd suggest doing an aka-alike thing that says something like e.g. "merged with cyberiad to cncd" on carillon's page, and e.g. "merger of carillon and cyberiad" on cncd's page, with the group names acting as links respectively. the prods would still only be found in the prod lists of the groups they were released for, but if you can't find it in the cncd page, the merge text gives you a hint to check either carillon or cyberiad.

although the merge thing is difficult because of heatbeat's releasing as carillon (which i forgot about) and ami & co.'s releasing as tristar... or well, maybe it could still say "merged with blahblah" even if new prods are released for that individual group as well.
