Hello
Has anyone tried this thingie: http://store.videogamecentral.com/ps2usbexsde.html
How does it work? Do I have to modify my PS2 to play my backed up copies of games I already own? :)

Of all people, Rasmus...
Gadgets and devices sucks! Enlighten me or I'll go back to playing solitaire.
I hear the multiplayer version kicks ass.
I read some tests about that USBextreme thing, the bad thing is it's only USB1.1, that means the games when loaded from HDD will not be faster - if not slower - than loading from DVD. Also there seems to be quite some incompatibilites. You need patches for a lot of games. Just google a bit around :)
I think it's better to buy a used ps2 (old style, not the slim version) with a network adapter, and stick a plain ide hdd in it.
Is it possible to play backed up games via network? Ifso how? :)
that's not what I meant, the network adapter is required for the old ps2 because it contains an ide controller.
