I agree with xeron.
I disagree with Jcl, the mirror link below the download link requires an extra click to go to the scene.org page, and doesn't even tell you whether the production actually is on scene.org.

So, basically, you want the "download" link to show you mirrors, and not use the "mirrors" link at all (because the download link is already taking you to the mirrors).

Well, the ideal situation would be like this:
- download link gives you a download from your favorite mirror (like melwyn suggested)
- mirror link gives you a list of all available downloads (and not just a list of locations where you might find mirrored downloads like currently is the case.

basically, what i meant in this thread was: when i click "download", i want to "download", not want to be taken to a page with options.
The way that is implemented doesn't really matter to me, but this is pouet not scene.org, so the discussion about scene.org mirrors should be given at scene.org.

In the future we want ALL downloads go via scene.org.
And yes, Iam serious, it's acctually alot easier than having liberal URIs. See it as your favourite commyserver!

JCL: Some people are adding links to pages which disallow hot linking to the prod directly due to they actually have to pay for the traffic. How do you want to solve that problem?
sparcus: Being an asshole like stefan I'd adding prod with direct links to the slowest (or even not working) mirrors. Any suggestions to fix that problem? ;)
