so conclussion is: you who read this is most likely not a demoscene, just a stupid wannabe :-)

btw: last month we received 300 fanmails to dxm mail account saying they wanted another intro from us, since we are so much better than everyone else than you. i guess thats the truth, you all suck.

I don't think that noone from the guys/gals in the top10 glops list have produced something for the demoscene. In fact, even me have produced some lame things, lame, but more than nothing.. And as I remember, I was watching some accelerated demos and knew the coder and I knew him from the list! So I said, these guys produce something even if they spent their whole life in Pouet, wow! =)

About the topic. 74.9 percent of the pouet.net users have been
participating in a demo (how they have participated is a different case).

well, i actually make graphics for demos (see here for latest example), i know that zone is responsible for some of marshals newer stuff and tomaes makes those strange tap demos ;)

on the other hand i don't feel like i have to justify myself here :)

(Before you ask, I DID participate in stuff :) Our prodz are currently fighting for the Worst Rated Prod award against the DXM stuff >>:))

ALL of the top-10 dudes have either created or participated in demos or intros or other scene prods (except crest. but he does demoshows on parties etc.).

Not that I'm in the top 10 gloep list by a long shot, but I haven't participated in a (released) demo (yet). Although I've torn up about 2 demos worth of material for various reasons. Honest ;)

Hehehe, I got several emails from people from the Quickbasic scene about my pure qb prods (http://www.pouet.net/prod.php?which=4637, http://www.pouet.net/prod.php?which=5147) and we even discussed about code, and I ever learned to few newbies how to output pixels fast in Quickbasic and code a simple plasma routine, hahaha :)

So, I guess I have a place in active sceners beeing in top10 glop too ;)

Why does it matter whether or not a demo reviewer has made demos? How many movie critics make their own movies? How many food critics are chefs? I trust the opinion of someone who's seen hundreds of demos more than someone who only works on their own productions. (espcially if they're no good at it!)
