Yep, pretty much so.

BASS is easier to explain.. it came from this prod which sampled chuck-d saying "BASS!" and got propagated by this band

i'll take the blame for the me beautiful. dont know exactly why it started though.. but the fix was the first register of the cliche on pouet iirc.

this video might also explain and/or illucidate certain peculiar aspects of the pouet BASS! trend.

Well, there is the (in)famous bbs-thread "fix me beautifull" which resulted in some minor threads like "merge me beautifull". After several times urls fucked up the oneliner (and partly the whole page) ps introduced the url-feature ("link me beautiful"). The later and the original beautifull with the less common double-l resulted in

* BASS *

-like posts. That's all. ;)

you put link into oneliner, no bbcodes or anything like that and it will turn into link me beautiful!!! wow, thats explained it.

I perfectly understand about BASS now that I've seen what ps suggested - I mean, who wouldn't give in?

A troll is a pain in the ass, usually, on bulleting board-like systems, the term [i think, correct me if i'm wrong] comes from the RPG troll creatures, which are usually dumb and aggressive.
The bestest troll so far, imo on pouet is / was EP, check out this topic to understand more, I think that's a great example of ult1mat3 tr0llage. Also, to understand more about that situation, you might also want to check this topic maybe.

i believe the original catch phrase for the me beatiful stuff came from that american comic movie with the suck me beautiful jokes. how it propagated into a pouet trend howhever is beyond my comprehension.

Glöps are the currency here at pouet, check their value at the faq. And it's hard to teach someone about hypnoglow and lobsters. Just wait, someday it'll make *poop* and you'll know all about it.
