Pilgrimage 2005 on its way!

you can borrow my clogs!
not with that nick, you don't.
PATAT.
PATAT.
Hey guys, don't fuck around with them _again_. They've learned their lecture, there weren't spam-postings like "we are the bestest" and "you should come to our party" this year. You even had to search for eurotrash, not like last year. So stop bitching around now and accept the "you have to be present at the party place"-rule. Last year they had a lot of prizes and "eigen volk eerst" is a normal result of that. But hey, there's still the Jamaican party option for us. (I really wonder what legalize would think about 200 Europeanses coming to Pilgrimage.)
troll: 1500 miles? Holy shit. Good luck and next time take a plane. ;)

"Late breaking addition! Sara Rose, a licensed massage therapist, will be offering chair massages to Pilgrimage attendees on Friday from 10 AM to 2 PM. The perfect thing to loosen you up for the DDR compo!"
yeah, how many of you party coders wish you had *that* after the compo deadline? :D

a DDR-compo? none, i guess...
Wheeeeee! A free rub 'n' tug!
BTW: I'm still waiting for the TI-85 megademo from last year.
kusma: you seem to forget that Limp Ninja's uber-leet amiga coder is quite the DDR buff.
And as for the USA, it's not that people are much different over there, it's just that the idiots have more influence :-)
plek: amen
The point of a party is to gather together.
If you want internet compos try TMDC or the 256b HTML compo. If we wanted to run internet compos, we wouldn't even bother holding a physical event.
It also isn't that hard to find someone to be your representative if for some reason you're hell-bent on submitting an entry to Pilgrimage from Finland. Why you would bother, I frankly don't know since there are shitloads of parties within easy grasp of anyone in the EU.
And if 200 euros came to Pilgrimage, I'd be just fine with that, as long as I had some advance warning to plan for it.

hehe, rich never does seem to get the point exactly :)
whatever, ps. You really don't know what you're talking about.
actually, if 200 euros came to Pilgrimage, (and we had 50 other people) we'd have to get permission from the county comissioner to hold the event
...or else this would happen.

No bullshitting here, I just came over a nice quote:
Quote:
Millions of Americans own dogs, because they are good-natured, simple, and
easily amused. I am referring here to the Americans.
<Dave Barry>
Dave Barry rules.
If someone wants to send 200 € to my place, let me know and I'll give you my home address. ;-)
A bit more than 200 euros went to Pilgrimage, of my money. It was my most expensive sceneparty so far, it cost even more than Assembly. Why is there this trouble with overnight parties, Americans? :S
Welcome to the wonderful world of city zoning laws...
nod. same problem in California. There is a legal loophole around this though; setup your party within county territory outside of city limits.
Crap.. it´s to far from finland :(
Quote:
Finally someone made that obvious joke. If someone wants to send 200 € to my place,
Gem: If I can find a place that will let me do 24 hrs, I will. I haven't found anyplace willing to let me do that yet.
