This effect might also explain the scores of deluded idiots who appear on things like Pop Idol, thinking their singing voice is something special, when it clearly isn't ;-)

lator: I totally understand that you're somewhat clueless when it comes to demoscene history.

stanz: i can finish BD1 in ~20 minutes i think... I dont remember the exact timespan but i played it thru at Function04 in front of some mesmerized people :) (And i plan to do it this year too :)

if you have gameboy advance or nintendo ds, try "boulder dash ex" which contains remix of boulder dash and new version.

By the way, Mr Driller is a very addictive game for people who used to play and liked Boulderdash :)

Yesterday I tried it, Gargaj. I failed at J stage (BD1). So nervous! LOL
Then run BD3 (on CPC rockford was a cool astronaut ;) I got more
and more fun, improved my tech and I could run under the diamons/rocks galore, avoiding to get them on my head ;p

I got speed issues with bonus. But still a nice remake!
Now I though of it, I played long time ago, to other "accurate remakes".
I remember one you could play in HI res (not boulder! ;)) or LOW -original- res. First Star maybe mail the author..
