I was awake for 50 hours at a party in the early 90's. I remember loosing my balance and not remembering if I had actually composed a new mod for the compo or if it was a dream.

So let's hear it -- how many of you have been awake at a party more than my lousy 50 hours? How was it?

I think i stayed up 3 days and nights in a row....about 60 hours. I remember i should do a 8-9 hour car trip to get home, and damn how many times i drove into unknown territory :)

The old Assemblies.. from Friday to Sunday. Now I'm old and couldn't do that anymore :(

Preacher, old enough to know there is no sense to try to be awake as much as possible :)

I usually like to get at least some sleep at night at parties. Drinking isn't fun when you're dead tired. Otherwise I've been awake for longer periods (some nights I just can't get any sleep even if I'm dead tired and try to sleep)

I usually get some sleep each night. But I don't think what I got at BP04 really counted as sleep. I was fucking freezing and all the wood areas were taken so my bag was directly on the concrete, so every few minutes i'd lose feeling in the arm and leg I was lying on and have to turn over. So technically I was awake all through BP04. Nice.

I dunno, I fell asleep.

At dreamhack2003winter i was asleep from thursday till somewhere around the evening on the saturday, finishing our 64k for the compo, and after that i had loads of , a not so good combo. was totally ed up when we went up on the stage to get our price.

nowadays i sleep at parties. always. or pass out :)
usually between 03-09 since there is no activity at all at this time usually.

i suspect that buzzie haven't had much sleep since dh03 because he's not making alot of sense right now..

the whole 3 days at evoke '97. actually we arrived the night before the official start already, so make that 4 days. =)
at first i didn't want to sleep, then i couldn't. i tried to, but i couldn't.

inbetween saying good bye to the remaining people, not having any sleep at all started to take effect on me. i didn't know why i was there and what exactly i was doing; cirion might remember that part very well. =)
i finally collapsed in the car and woke up shortly before beeing at home.

we also almost score a frontal with another car because the guy i came with wasn't too fresh either =)

i actually had the same problem as dalezy the last night of backslash underground, had been up for quite some time and was organizing the compos and stuff. and then when it was all over i couldnt sleep, even though i was tired.. so i was lying there in the bed and just trying to fall asleep, after some hours i gave up and started talking with some people, after 20-30 minutes it hitted me and i falled asleep..

sometimes sleep is a really weird phenomena :)

i really try and sleep every night at parties these days (usually it's forced, through drinking and passing out), although on bp03, 04 and 05 i was up most of the party trying to finish 64k intros.
that really does suck ass.
im very glad that asm compo deadlines are early, it forces you to stop working and start boozing.

Longest time awake... I did that in the army, 58 hours.

52 hours straight TGTBT'96 my own party.. main org, had to be awake ;)

i havent slept for ten days, coz that would be way too long

About 60 straight hours finishing our first compo demo for Gardening 95, then another 30+ at the partyplace and back home.. At which point I lost peripheral vision and ability to tell near objects from far.

Hm.. there was a time indeed, when projects only took 4-5 days to produce from start to finish..

Well, i went only to TRiP 1999 in Italy....and stayed up about 30 hours....i know....it's nothing :)

man, i remember Outline where I stayed up almost 12 hours !!! That was tough.
But our member 505 sleept for two days there...

Last time I was at a party was in the middle '90's (perhaps I should go again), and I remember I rarely slept for more than a few hours (impossible with all the noise and usually cold sleeping halls).
