Llamasoft on Xbox360

That happens to be fun to play, as do many of his other games. Not all.
If you don't like 'em, fine. I don't like any of the Wolfenstein 3d games that dominate the market today.
I've ALWAYS preferred Minter's light synthesizers, and he's getting paid for one by Microsoft. I think that's killer.
If you don't, I don't fucking CARE. I still think it's killer.

RotMC is fun to play? Because of the funny sprites? I think the control is horrible. There were far better shooters in that area.
His games are not even well remembered - check number of downloads on c64.com.
Fuck you, whiners, Yak coded one of the best games ever: Matrix.
i fucking loved llamatron and rotmc! llamatron managed to get a few thousand shareware registrations back in its day. tempest2k is one of the best games i ever played.
sticking to the subject at hand: this new vlm doesn't look that special. http://www.rabidhamster.org/R4/main.php is a probably better alternative. the screenshots look good.

i've never heard of him before.
earx: wow, thats some .. old-looking demo effects with dodgy colours.
I agree with Truck.
although demos and VLM stuff have similarities, i think most VLM stuff should use bright colours. this is because the VLM's are often used in concerts and clubs and used in the same way as the lighting. i just think xbox360 VLM has worse colours due to blending incompatible palettes, and that the R4 one does it in a better way.
it's true that 'modern' demoscene effects have been used at concerts, but so far only know of ambient acts doing this.
