OK, I know taht music is an art and that taste varies alot. Still, I would like to get your opinion on the best scene musicians ever. I don't want to miss out on listening to one of the great!
My list (in no specific order):
* Elwood
* Tip / Mantronix / Firefox
* Lizardking
* Purple Motion
(Good old guys such as MadMax (Jochen Hippel), Rob Hubbard and David Whittaker are more of game musicians to me ...)

Mind, I'm more of a 4channel protracker kind of person. MP3's aren't "real scene music" (tm) ;)

Too numerous to mention, Romeo Knight sticks in my mind - but that opinion is strongly biased by nostalgia!

For some reason, a couple of Elwood's tunes has always epitomized the greatness that is good scene music.. with the exception of the Dope soundtrack by Jugi, which is the greatest song the scene has ever produced.
the cncd guys, dune, moby and jester are the first ones to pop into my mind :)
