its because the demo scene is one of the only places left to be in this world that could mean something..

The BBS is really the worst feature ever added to pouet :P
I don't think it really adds to pouet.net anyway, since I just see it as a frontend to the scene.org archives, with the option of rating products.
So, instead of removing the users, why not remove the BBS? :)
Or else, how about inverting the logic... instead of fake users, mark true users (users that are known sceners because they've been at parties, released products, hang out with other sceners, or whatever else :)).
