p.s. if you feel like complaining about the quality of the files or something like that, then i'd just like to add that my monitor is like stoneage old and is really dark, i've noticed that some of my editing looks kinda crappy on better monitors, not really my fault, it looked perfect on mine

nice!
though that's not the haujobb logo :)

yeah, i´m not actually an expert on who did what, if the text does say the name of some group (and i probably found it on some scene page) and it isn´t just some company logo or whatever then i figure it must be a group logo. btw can´t really fix anything atm, my stoneage pc broke down a couple days ago and i´m waiting to get myself a new one
nice collection, although it shows how much modern warezgroups suck on making stuff beautiful...

man... the quality on some of those new warez groups (and you can tell who they are instantly because of the quality) is just so freaking sub-par.
You can tell they don't have a feedback system like the real scene does.
Seriously, people, if you think we're tough on you - well it's to prevent things like... like the crap that's displayed on that page with some very excellent work by sceners.
Climbatiz: nice work, now let's get you sorted with who did what and get the lousy logos onto a 'crap page' (: Also, for the sake of those of us who have to explain that 'NO, I am NOT freaking TRADING WAREZ, I'm a DEMOSCENER' for the millionth time - a page listing democrews separate from warez would be nice.
Yeah, for some groups that's a hard one. You have my permission to put Accession on the Demoscene page and not on the Warez page (:

why separation? i'm all for a united scene.
I am too, it's just there's a slight problem with being arrested in some countries where you have leaders who are mentioned in songs like the one by NOFX called 'the idiot son of an asshole'
the collection is mostly for warez/cracking group logos, it just so happens to be that i don't really know which demoscene groups aren't affiliated with them, so it's better to just say "GFX / Warez" rather than "labelling" all the logos made by or for warez groups
also, forgot to add, i don't really collect the demoscene logos, since there are probably billions of those and only a handfull of warez group logos
Nice collection I must say!
Respect to Climbatiz and dipswitch.
This is a great thread,indeed.

lol
one thing bugs me though.. u use logo's there without asking my permission. thats just rude. but i guess thats just whats this piracy scene is all about huh.. just one email to me with something like 'i wanna get famous over your back on the www' would have been enuff..ppl just take everything for granted these days, ofcourse i know how much more work u would have if u would have to contact every single creator of those gfx, but atleast try to put some effort in the page you are displaying them on...atleast use a stylesheet or sumthing ffs ;)
Just dont start printing them on t-shirts and start selling them like some fellow 'sceners' did...
god i type too much :)

the correct thing to do is put a (c) notice on your work
but then u get flamed if u doo and flamed if u dont?
i think the general idea of the scene is that everything should be free but some have other opinions? so yes it is good to ask if u can? but if you want to be asked u need a (c) watermark
anyway i thought everything was supposed to be belong to us
no its not... if u havent noticed with latest pass-protected warez-releases.. :) (oh bad joke ;)
and dont get me wrong i dont hate these tribute-pages
and aslong they dont make money with it u can just let me blahblah like an old scener :)
i had this russian gay welling tshirts with my gfx from cracktro's, some logo's had even "NOT FINISHED"written thru and under them .. just imagine u ordered that horrible jpg-artifacted lowres 72dpi print on a tshirt hehe
-thats why i get jumpy when i see my own stuff from my own wwwsite somewhere else.. (theres a huge' u will burn in helll-disclaimer there! :)

Ahaha warez people complaining that their stuff is used without permission? How ironic.
the site is still "under construction" even though its been open for almost half a year now, i have been meaning though to add credits to the creator for each logo, but i can´t really do anything about it atm (like i said my pc got demolished). however if you have something created by you on there (mostly for logos that aren´t tagged) then just leave me an email i´ll sort things out when i´ve got the time (which is usually do)
nah - just make a nice page out of it and do whatever u want todo with it, xcept selling :)
Keops: if u knew me u would have known that im an artguy.. who happends to do some gfx for warez groups also...
like a graffity on the wall, a picture in a magazine, an illustration in a book, a logo in a cracktro - its all the same to me -if its mine i have the rights to defend it...not?:)

A guy who happens to belong to many warez groups (Hoodlum, Paradox) and who happens to make logo for cracktros, thus clearly supporting warez scene (don't claim otherwise, it would be plain hypocritical ;).
I have absolutely nothing against you but I find it really funny and ironical that people supporting warez scene and clearly being involved in it dare complain about their stuff being used without PERMISSION.
Maybe you could sue this guy for copyright infringement? :)
"Warez group files a lawsuit in court against a webmaster for copyright infrigement", now that would be a funny news :)

keops, i mean, dude, either you're attempting to joke (french humor?)=) or i dont know... fucking of course we get pissed if someone uses the stuff without permission! no matter what.
i do infofiles for all kind of purposes, of course for warezgroups too. and it happend often enough that some groups which are too dumb or too lame to ask me for an exclusive logo, just pick apart the letters from some old logo of mine and arrange them in a really dilletantic way to form their groupname. and probably steal some 5 year old design of mine too for "their" nfofile layout.
and i don't have a right to get mad about that, just because i "support the warez scene"? with that logic a professional killer would not be allowed to get in rage if someone murders his brother... or smth.
it's not about copyright infridgement, it's about scene ethics. and dont tell me i cant expect no scene ethics from the warez scene because this, for the qualitative majority, is simply not true.

Pfft the 1st link doesn't even have the likes of Crystal, Skid Row or Bamiga Sector One and many many others.
Dip: as a matter of fact I'm being quite ironical rather than kidding. If you don't get my point about warez people complaining about disrespect of their holy "copyrights", then that's too bad for you :)
in short, if you steal, dont be surprised to get stolen from.
