what [windows] modplayer to use?
category: general [glöplog]
winamp for mp3 and ogg, xmplay for modules

I use winamp or freeamp for mp3/ogg.
There's this pretty nifty WSP Module Player plugin for Winamp if I'm in a less critical mood regarding XM/S3M/MOD playback compatibility It comes quite close to perfect (and it comes bundled with a nice DSP plugin too).
I'll use XMplay (or MODplug in rare cases) for replay.
Florent: hey, neat I didn't know there was a bass plugin yet :)

Sonique loves to play mods, and play them well. It even plays *.it files properly. My only gripe about sonique is that it doesn't support the oldest files such as *.sid, whereas deli does.
ile said it all.
modplug player has a rather dummy interface but it sounds accurate. That's what I use.
