It felt in good hands through the past years At times I wondered how one can stand the moderation. Understandable and a pity at the same time. Thank you for the effort for the community!
I, of course, like everyone else, express my respect to Gargaj for many years of support and development of Pouët.
However, some comments look like a funeral notice for Pouët.
I still hope that there will be some respectable sceners here to whom the baton can be passed? The pouet.net should continue to work!
PS: I just looked: I added my first release to Pouët exactly 20 years ago :)

Thank you, Gargaj, for your dedication to maintaining this site over these years.
Yeah, thanks a lot for your service, Gargaj!
Thanks for captaining the ship for as long as you did, Gargaj. Sad that things have to end like this though...
Pouet is a site that I visit daily. Thanks for all the hard work and I hope there are enough good people to take over.
What venom said.
thank you.
Thank you Gargaj. Your contribution to the scene is much appreciated.
Thanks gargaj, for doing this thankless job. I really hope someone will pick up the challenge. But we’ve had the conversations about people “wanting to help” but nobody wants to commit, including myself.
Enjoy your rest, you absolutely deserve it.

To give you an idea how things are going, just today I've been suggested by multiple people that I should shut Pouët down. (That is not my call to make, I don't have that jurisdisction, as I'm only the steward, not a stakeholder.)
Thank you Gargaj for those years of great Pouetery!
Pouetage?
Pouetage?
I would really miss pouet if it disappeared. I don't have the time or effort to help keep it running, but that's why I would be more than happy to contribute to a patreon like i suggested earlier (I mean it, too. I'm one of the few that pays monthly for thunderbird and Firefox for example).

Thank you for all the work you have done!

Weird suggestion. They could just not visit the site anymore if they think it is so terrible it needs to be shutdown ¯\_(ツ)_/¯?
Thanks so much for the many years of hard work you put in keeping things running, Gargaj!
Thank you for all the hard work - and patience - over the many years you spend on pouet and so many other Demoscene related things. I have immensely enjoyed (and still will) both pouet and our personal shenanigans.
I sincerely wish that you get (back) some time and energy to do something that you really love and enjoy :)

Thank you for the hard and nerve-wrecking work, Gargaj! I can totally understand your decision, but dread at the thought of what will happen with this site after you're gone...
Thank you for your service!
So one of those people who suggested to close or sunset Pouet was me. Fact of the matter is, motivation among the site staff is at an alltime low. When was the last time you thanked a gloperator? And when was the last time you offered to help them? It seems the only way to get positive response from our audience is to quit, as evidenced in this thread. Do you think that will motivate remaining staff to carry any batons or burdens? Or is that a sign of a toxic entitled culture? Discuss among yourselves.
Me personally, I'm pretty much done sacrificing my health and sanity here. And I would hate to see it go even further downhill. 25 years is a hell of a run for a website. Better to put good food in the freezer before it starts to rot.

havoc talking about toxic behaviour...yeah right.

Thank you for your incredible volunteer work here and for the time and nerves you sacrificed.
I hope a replacement can be found.
A site like this in the hands of one person...doesn't feel good.
