Ghandy: really? Assembly is an order of magnitude bigger than Revision, even if 95% of the visitors are gamers, that is still a sizeable demoparty, as can be seen by the amount and quality of the releases! And some gamers eventually become sceners. Saying it "doesn't have much to do anymore a lot with the demoscene" is rather insulting to the hard work of the scene organizers...
Ghandy, the demoscene is very much alive at Assembly. SO are the demoscene compos!

Tell me you've never been to assembly without saying you've never been to assembly.
And ofcourse what Seven said..
you need at least one party to release your 10GB demo

In the future it's gonna be some other party than Assembly, since we are bringing back size limits. We feel that one aspect of demo coding as a whole, should be managing bloat.

PC Demo: Difference between rank 1 and 2 -> 1(!) point
limp ninja got robbed!
1st Evoke for me, won't be the last. Excellent party, thank you all <3
Thank you to all organizers and visitors for making Evoke a great party. Also lol @ 1 point :)
It was a great party once again with a lot of quality releases. Thanks to the organizers and everyone who visited.
I liked the party a lot! I did not like a certain phenomenon though.
Some 30 years ago I was laughed at and mocked because I said gamers are ruining demoparties. "Why do they bother you so much? Just ignore them!" 1-2 years later all parties banned or isolated gamers.
You know very well what I'm talking about. Many of you don't understand it though. So I'm not gonna continue. You'll see it in a few years.
Now read the first sentence again. That's my main point. Thank you, everybody! Evoke rulez!

Thanks to all organizers (and visitors!) for this fantastic party! For me personally it probably was the best evoke I ever attended. Although some people were dearly missed, I had so many nice talks and great experiences.
On top of this the PC compos really hit the ball out of the park this year. I would even say I enjoyed the pc demo compo at evoke even more than at revision this year.
The DJ selection was ace as well and I had a great time all around! Congrats to such an amazing 25th edition. <3

I really liked the sidescreen displaying the entry slide during the run of the entry itself on the bigscreen. =)
(And i didn't like how some people noisily packed their suitcases in the sleeping hall or even deflated their air mattress with that fucking compressor, inconsiderate asshats. But that's not on the orgas, ofc.)

No, I have no idea what you are talking about, but given your history of spewing vile bullshit, I am not sure I actually want to know...

What a coincidence, I am also not into discussing anything with the likes of you...

You know the drill by now: Evoke ends, and a few hours later, the TRBL same-day party photo delivery service has some first images to show to you folks.

And now you are complaining when other people are annoyed by something that you are doing. You tell them to just ignore it and stop being bothered so much. And then you tell them consent doesn't matter, stop being a snowflake triggered zoomer, etc. Consider some self-reflection.
lol, isn't tomcat literally a convicted neo-nazi? i wonder what his opinions on inclusion are!!!
Evoke looked delightful from the stream  Sad I missed you all, next year I _will_ fecking make it!!!!!
Also goddamn, some baller entries! High quality all around! really enjoyed Steffest's making of video as well, you are a maniac!

Did you read it again as well? :pNow read the first sentence again.
As always a great party, wish I had talked to more of it's lovely guests, really digging the trophies this year. <3
Some small improvement suggestions for next year:
1) the amount of tables and benches inside the tent outdoors was a bit excessive, making the tent itself very cramped and hard to navigate. Maybe a bigger tent next year? Or a few tables/benches less inside the tent itself if a bigger tent is not possible?
2) the voting system just showed the party slides of the entries instead of a screenshot, and even though some gfx compos had a separate link to the image, it didn’t work at least on mobile (the separate link to the entry image just opened a popup with a broken image link), making it impossible to vote on gfx compos after missing some of them :( i hope this can be fixed for next year.
3) The bar ran out of radler way too early. Maybe next year they can stock up on that ;)
4) It would be great to have more hand sanitiser dispensers around the partyplace, especially near the outdoor urinals.
5) If at all possible, please start selling tickets as soon as the doors open. Having to wait ~1.5 hours from 17:30 to 19:00 for the queue to shorten before getting in is not a fun experience :(
Apart from these few tiny annoyances everything else worked like a charm. Also the new dj booth/dancefloor outside was awesome. Great work on the setup and decorations there!
Already looking forward to Evoke26 in 2025!

okkie: Tomcat is not a Nazi. For calling a person with such good manners as he has a Nazi, you ought to pay a fine.
