even if, i doubt it would arrive in time ^^
I can borrow my VecFever.
@bodo thanks, that's very kind - however I've now cancelled the potential Vectrex loan thinking I wouldn't be able to get a cart in time :D So no worries. Also, looking forward to meeting you at the party!
@Fell Ok, CU at the Evoke.
Bumping up this topic to say how I loved your demo! Can't wait to see it on my Vectrex. I also need a multicart though. :)
Why was it run in an emulator in the end? And not a very accurate one, as it seemed.
@Krill We didn't have a flash cart or any 64K (e)eproms available, so would have had to capture each bank separately (which would have been horrid). We're hoping to update with a good capture soon.
Regarding the choice of emulator, we used Ralf Kornmann's Vectrex Emulator, which is accurate in some specific ways that eg ParaJVE are not. In particular, ParaJVE has quite broken timing for the x axis integrator.
The most accurate emu is almost certainly the emu in Malban's VIDE, but this is not quite so aesthetic or amenable to fullscreen capture.
In any case, the prods looks *much* cooler on hardware :)
@tomcatmwi, thanks :)
