you want to publish/submit your web/javascript demo as an exe ?
the obvious choice would be electron, but it sucks because its 200-500mb ?

this little tool "runs" html files in fullscreen.

it can also be used by organizers to make the compo workflow much easier (e.g. NOT having to setup a local webserver for multiple entries and open the correct URL in a browser while sweatingly and nervously running a compo)

the overhead is ~400kb. the demo will basically be run in the current version of edge (via webView2 api/lib), which is chromium based, so basically chrome.
