Puryx: Me too :) It's saying there are 4 comments on the YT page, but you can't see them (at least I can't)

I've mailed Tunecore (the song distributor) with a copyright violation request - let's see what happens from there...

Might wanna mail Bandcamp as well: https://iphaze.bandcamp.com/track/shiny-flakes

Gargaj: I'm a noob at this music distribution stuff - I assumed that Tuncore also distributed it on Bandcamp, but given your comment, I assume not?

Bandcamp you upload and control yourself :)

Ok, so it seems like the tune has been removed from YouTube, Spotify (and probably other streaming services) - I'd appreciate confirmation if you've seen the tune on e.g. Spotify earlier, and now can't access it.

Next up are the remaining videos on YT pointed out by Flashira and Gaspode + Bandcamp.

Interesting case. The group seems established, even though I have never seen such an example of a rural tour. Out of 30 or so gigs, the biggest city they play in is clermont ferrand. Facinating. I've seen traditional spelman folk musik lineups with more urban tour routings than this.
Puryx did you even bother to contact the group and hear what they had to say about it?

Small world, a friend of mine runs a company that is the official beer sponsor of one of their gigs. Want me to pull some strings?

They also registered the stolen track with SACEM (French GEMA).
So you might want to let them know as well asap.

ISWC : T-310.244.048-8
IPI : 595113443
The guy who registered it is called Patrice CADIOU

OK sorry for a 4th post but this got me obsessed for some reason.

I scrolled through their discography on bandcamp and there is a big discrepancy in production level in between tracks. When I look at their SACEM deposited tracks, I found a correlation. All tracks that are co-authored by both Patrice CADIOU & Michael PIASER are meh, but the tracks that are single authored by Patrice CADIOU have a much higher production value.

The track stolen from Puryx is one of the latter.

Up until 2015, all their tracks are co-authored,
their 2015 album is a mix of single and co-authored tracks.
from 2015 all their tracks are made only by CADIOU.

Coincidentally this seems to be where their career takes of.

The Puryx track might of course be an isolated case but something is fishy, especially when I look at their video and graphic material (that is also all made by CADIOU apparently).

I'd strongly suggest that any demoscene musician that makes this kind of "bass music" take a quick stroll through their discography on bandcamp just in case their might be more stolen material in there.

Copyright claim also sent to Bandcamp - apparently Iphaze linked to Bandcamp for their fans to get access to the song, now that it has been taken down most other places.

Is there more to this story?
Well.... maybe!

I very much agree with what JuvenileShitHead wrote above - some of their material is just too good - espeically the animations/videos.
It didn't take much digging to find that this video for one of their songs is ripped from another commercial music video release (the video is ripped, not the song... or well, I don't know if the song is also ripped from somewhere else :D )

If you find interesting stuff, especially if it concerns my track, and video from "The Process", please let me know!

Also

dubmood: Thanks for the digging!

I would very much like help, however you should only provide it given that you're up for it, and currently I'm also unsure what help I need at this point :)

Let's keep in contact on Discord!
