I found nothing special about this animation. It is even rather boring. Definitely not a demoscene killer!
That surely is a visualizer to a somewhat boring royksopp song.
They ripped off Ademski (and Seal) - Killer ....but its kind of so obvious that I suspect its done on purpose to make everyone go "where the hell did I hear that before from...gaaahhh" I know I went crazy and could do nothing else before I found it.

TFT: its on purpose, it’s an “ode to our teachers” album but it turned out as boring lesser versions of great tracks.
Yeah Twintris was nice Tetris clone with classic (especially the) title music by Walkman. Totally indifferent about Röyksopp.
Is that visualizer running on the Evoke compo machine with the buggy Realtek drivers or something? I see very little happening in terms of FFT.
