Yes, thank you for your impressive degree of honesty and knowing how it is.
If you just happened to know, the guys are/were from the south of France. And the south has it, it is quite normal to spend a weekend here or there in here.
Anyway, I already know the scene may be stupid, but from the other hand, why making such a joke.

There's a difference between living somewhere and organizing any level of event.


I'm virtually certain it wasn't meant to be a joke, but Sim, you've been around in the 90s, I'm sure you remember the bizarre party announcements back then that were completely unrealistic and promised the world without anything to back them up - except at the time they got ripped to shreds in diskmags and on BBSes before they gained any credibility.

(I obviously mean "bizarre" lowercase "b", not the actual party series.)
