4K Resolution Wild Compo!
TLDR:
The entry must run on Windows with the latest DX and .net libraries with 4k resolution (3840x2160) or on hardware that you bring. All techniques are allowed. Register the entries in PMS and bring the binaries to our booth in the sponsor area. Cash prizes sponsored by Altparty.
Rules:
- The entry can be code, a picture, a video... Pretty much anything that can be shown.
- Browser demos will be run in latest Chrome.
- Maximum run time is 5 minutes.
- The compo computer will be running windows with the latest DX and .net runtimes
- You can use your own hardware for running your entry if you want, the hardware needs to support the full resolution via Display Port connection.
- Entries must run at 3840x2160 resolution.
- Submission is done by bringing your entry to us at the booth. You must also register your entry in PMS for voting.
- DL for final versions will be on Saturday just before the showing
- The compo is held at the Puuhanurkka stand, live, on Saturday before the main compos, exact time TBA..
- If the demo/video/whatever won't run, you CAN try to fix it so it can be shown after all entries, but if you cannot fix it before all the other entries have been run, you will be disqualified.
- You can come to the stand beforehand to briefly test your entry.
Prizes are 600€ for first place, 300€ for second and 100€ for third. All prizes will be paid in cash. Recipient is responsible for any possible taxes.

Since your post doesn't exactly specify: are these to be original, before-unreleased productions (like in any normal compo), or can it be 4k remastered versions of previously released demos (like, for example, revision's 120Hz compo had)?
Remastering old entries is allowed. The aim is to see what is possible with so many pixels :)

Pelkästään skaalatusta efektistä menee vähän koko homman hienous ohi, kerran on niitä pikseleitä ja yleisö pääsee katsomaan läheeltä niin tarkoitus olisi koittaa saada siitä 4k:sta jotain irtikin :)
The compo will be shown starting at 20:00 on Saturday 6.8.
All the releases of this compo seem to be lost, besides the winning entry.
Maybe someone has them on their HD still and can upload them somewhere?

I wrote a mail to the given address above, maybe they happen to have the files lying around somewhere.
The real question is whether they have it on their UHD.
I heard this will be another NWO fest with vaccination pass, is this the plan?
