Hey,
just wanted to discern what could be the 'best affordable' compromise to buy an average Megadrive linker. Maybe an usb+sdcard one. Not too slow.

I've seen so many cheap and more expensive ones those days, that I can't figure it out so much. Some youtube reviews tend to critic the slowness or poor quality.

Let's say 50€ could be my limit. So I guess I won't get the best one, but a compromise could do it. Everdrives are far away too much expensive for me unfortunately.

That's why I'm posting, to get a bit of a feedback from your experiences.

You can get an Everdrive inluding 8GB SDcard for 42,45 EUR at amazon. I got one, works like a charm.

(Don‘t know if it‘s a chinese clone or not. But quality was decent. Copying ROMs from the card takes a couple of seconds, depending on size. Software says (c) by krikzz.)

Btw the card comes preloaded with most of the game ROMs.
There‘s also a 32GB version/clone by Amonida for 52 EUR, but i don‘t think anyone needs that much memory.

Might I suggest checking out the EverDrive feature comparison tables over at Krikzz's product pages to make sure what you need. I have a spare x7 but don't know about 50€ considering postage etc.

Unfortunetely, all links on the everdrive page from this shop are sold out on amazon.

I will keep trying to find one with usb though, which is a very practical feature.
I keep the link Spike provided in case I can't find it, price and quality seems ok.
