WHICH DEMO IS THE SCARIEST ???

I always found that Ephidrena's Lux aeterna luceat eis resembles a haunting fever dream.
Surely it's this classic.
lets not forget about this.
The intro-demo of the Amiga-game "Shadow of the Beast 2" i always found scary. Expecially the scene, when the demon comes through the ceiling and steals the baby.

This always reminds me of the scene in the movie "The Fearless Vampire Killers (Tanz der Vampire)", when Dracula enters the bathroom through the skylight, to catch the woman in the bathtub.

Cocoon had one, I don't remember the name of.
rudi: thank you for your helpful contribution!
Umbra is probably not scary in the traditional sense, but we tried making the viewer feel uncomfortable, taking the viewer through someones last dying moments.

(and sadly, scary demo by crtc isn't that scary)
Scariest demos have always been the ones I've had to run as a partyorga and hope nothing breaks (hello last minute ninja-fixes) :)

It is even scariest to the ninja-coder who, during the live execution of the demo, suddenly start to think that the last minute fix MIGHT crash the compo machine.

Took a bit to find it - fr-055: 828 by Farbrausch.
The ones where spinning cubes threaten to come out of the screen!
I don't know about scary, but Mortality by Tulou is comforting to me.

super television of course, idiots
@w00t, yes, that's what it was supposed to be too, scary thing of fiction.
Many demos can be unsettling under the right conditions.
For me, it is one of our demos, because of personal reasons (and memories of making it), plus the ambience I got from the amazing soundtrack by ps:

Golem, arise / mfx literally gave me nightmares as a teen (yeah I was a sheltered church kid but still)
