The next project after the Dumb kid was to build a replica of the Dumble lator. This is basically a simple tube buffered effects loop which interfaces well with the "Effects loop" in the Dumble kid. The Dumble does not have a buffered loop, so the Dumb lator helps to provide proper impedances and levels for outboard effects. The levels are also fully adjustable from the send and return knobs on the front panel. There are also bright switches beside each knob.
