Oldschool is often just an umbrella term for being stuck in the past with a terrible sense of aesthetic.
Unpopular opinion: Oh we're here to make demos? I thought this was a community to stroke my ego and validate my own world view because I don't fit in with the reality of modern society.
Seeing all these nice people say mean things to each other makes me sad.

nytrik is the only demoscener left who can do decent 3d modeling and texturing.

Calling AGA lesser Amiga, now that's one opinion I find very unpopular! :D
Nowadays it's all just developed on PC and watched on Youtube anyway so it doesn't matter much if it's A500 or AGA060 or AtariST or Pico-8 or whatever as long as it's entertaining.

Either you do the next killer demo or bow your head in shame asking others to do it. No third option.
There's not enough people voting any more, the list will probably remain as it is.
It's OK to have mainly old productions on all-time top.
All-time-top: We should divide the votes by age (in years) so a 14y old product needs to get votes all the time to stay on top.
that list is useless anyway. second reality is the all time most popular demo by far! even random coworkers, who never heard of the demoscene but have experienced the DOS days, remember seeing that one
