scene music stolen

category: music [glöplog]
Seems the label »Heinvomstein« of this album is owned by the »composer« of the album »Jürgen Heinemann«.

Will never understand how people can steal things and sell them like this.

They have nothing to lose. If they made only 3 sales, they already made a net profit.

This'll repeat at the very least until a civil suit.

and the thing is, that there juergen seems to also be the one behind that coaxiant (that stole jeroen tel's bridges of hope for 'rescue from mars'), from what i've seen from the auto generated art tracks on youtube.
I say: Who cares... (or rather I don't care). My modules are ripped off every now and then since mp3.com times... you can't do anything about it, and if you do, the work and energy you invest into it to remove that stuff is wasted really imho. There's always a jerk ripping off music, and it's more flattering than making me angry most of the time. Exceptions are popular artists like Timbaland when millions of ppl think then that Timbaland made the music... but then you gotta have enuff money for paying a attorney/lawyer to settle that stuff. But most of the time it's just unknown artists ripping off your stuff so I see it more as a compliment, even if uncredited. :P

On Youtube, I'm often asked beforehand, if people can use my music for their videos and I say yes, as long as they credit me properly and link to my YT channel etc, and most people do it right away, so it's free promotion. :) And if I'm not credited on an already existing Youtube video, I ask those guys with a friendly comment and they insert the credits and link later on. I'm cool and relaxed about that kind of stuff. :)

Ripping songs is one thing, selling them another.

Well, the way I see it .. I often spend weeks or even months on a new composition, even when it is released for free. It is NOT ok for somebody to profit on someone elses creation with ZERO effort and no fucks given.

Saga Musix: Hmm that's a useful way to utilize YT's content ID. Maybe I should upload a few of my old .mod's and see what happens :D

After getting a copyright claim on my latest YT capture, it looks like the German group Siechtum stole from Andromeda/Noice.

Goatzilla (1998)
"Totfingerschaltung" by Siechtum (2001)

Takes guts to rip from a 64k DOS intro soundtrack. :)

At least that seems to be credited on the release.

btw, the "Parker Kurz" album is in the process of being removed from all platforms. I suggest anyone being affected by Jürgen Heinemann's other albums also complain to those other distributors (Coaxiant stuff is distributed through Ditto Music). Jugi was on one of those albums...

Laxical / Scoopex (aka Joachim Sobczak) stole a lot of tracks from sceners, it's nothing new. Used some of my tracks too, that fuckn thief.

Those Siechtum tracks are even automatically presented as copyright holders by YT for the intro/demo soundtrack videos ... OoO
also anyone willing to identify the tracks laxical used for 2 of his commercial tracks 'gefuehlskalt' (from the album of same name) and 'hinrichtung im morgengrauen' (from 'flashback')?

in other news... a romanian band stole an xm track from dj kike, titled 'the one'.
Can you share those two tracks? Somehow I can't find it.

Btw. Chaos track is also a Protracker tune, but I can't recall name.

Marvin & Guy - Prince of Badlands vs Zzzax - bp.SYNTHDRUM

Made an account to ask if anybody can identify some of the songs used in this random shovel-ware looking game on steam called 'Mitos.is' (youtube ID for soundtrack is v9iDer7nqLU)

It seems to take from a variety of modules and tracker-sounding music and stores them as mp3's with no credits or even song names. Most are identified in the description of the video above, with the exception of the two tracks 'st1' and 'st9'.
Not sure if this falls under the purview of this site or this topic but I'd like to find the sources for these.
toughbrook:
st1 = meztli72 - moonchild
st9 = traymuss - raptor 02

you're welcome :)
Thanks for the help.
That first tune is pretty nice after all, too.
Good old Laxical never ceases to surpise me: I've uploaded an older Amiga demo from my former group, and then there's a copyright claim for the track. So I quick jumped on the tracks, and found 2 old mods from myself, and I could identify one from Muffler, but I'm sure there's more:
