No, I think they're just out of scope for Pouet. Yes, there can be a fine line between a "musicdisk" and executable music, but it was decided that multiple songs and an interface is good enough to be a prod on Pouet, so that's that. There's always Demozoo and various platform-specific sites for your music/gfx needs.

just that they arn't "presumably found on the AtariAge forums", they are published on the demozoo and on the Fujiology.
I have nothing against removing weak productions (e.g. I do not understand the phenomenon of nyancat, by the way published by you). I'd just like to give Atari 7800 better visible here.

if you would like to give Atari 7800 better visible here it would be advisable to make some more representative demos for the platform because frankly that nyancat port is far from the worst in the list
I know who wrote nyan7800, thank you. I added it back then to Pouet because I released it as a Vantage (you know, a demo group) production at TUM (you know, a demo party).
But I certainly don't add all my programming exercices, hardware test programs and remaining non demo-scene related software to Pouet.
That said, I'll shut up know, since I'm not an admin here, and boy am I happy about that.

Homebrew != demoscene.
If the games have been released at a demoparty or are clearly scene related, then by all means add them. But otherwise please don't.
Reminder: adding any old crap that’s not a demoscene production is just making a mess the admins have to clean up, which isn’t going to win you any friends.

also, imho those prods you added are not so terrible that they *must* be removed because there's similar and much worse crap already in the wild category. the bottom line is, we just want to see more good demos for a7800 before we add it as a category. only future can tell if those demos will be created :)
