NOTLICHT NOTLICHT! This year on 10th October, we'll party with you online!

The website for our alternative online event is finally up and running.

The party stream will, with your help, feature tense competitions and a Demoshow with a selection of the finest Nordlicht demo releases from the past 8 years.

From this moment on, you can submit your remote competition entries to compos AT demoparty DOT info until 4th of October at 23:59. Please have a look at the revised competition rules, for there are less compos in total and some rules have changed slightly, like the requirement of video captures. Since this is an online event, we naturally accept remote entries from all over the world. Oh you already knew that :P

The exact time for when the stream begins (on Twitch) is to be announced here soon.

gaspode: So sieht's aus! Hab aber gerade die Regeln nochmal ein wenig angepasst.

English: One music compo. Rules changed to allow for 320 kbit/s MP3 submission, however lossless formats are preferred!

Dann schreibe ich dich mal das Stück fertig, was schon seit 3 Jahren auf meinem Computer rumdümpelt. :)

Keine Gravedigger dieses Jahr?

Gravedigger compo makes much more sense at the real party place because of all the different platforms involved. We're only a small team of active organizers dealing with the stream, so we cut things down to make it a little easier on ourselves ;) But that means more gravedigger content coming up the following year!

Glad to hear you're doing music again, gaspode. Hey I still got your floppy disks here that you provided years ago. I still kinda want to do a radio show with the tunes, just need to find some time for it.

I do music all the time ... the last two pieces for my animation-entries at Revision and Evoke.

Those old tracks should be entered into gravedigger- or music-compos. :)

Since we ask you to provide a video capture for your entry alongside the executable file, you might be unable to send it via email directly. You can put large video files on a ftp server or file hoster instead and then simply email us the link! Cheers!
