"Pre-voque" - a demoshow & hangout for all of us, Friday Aug. 14th

Exciting news! Your friends at Desire will be hosting a "Pre-voke" / pre-Novoque demoshow & online meetup for everyone on Friday, August 14th at 21:00 CET (20:00 GMT / 3 PM EDT / 12 PM PDT if you're me.) We have a whole whack of amazing releases from previous Evokes lined up, including some stuff that hasn't had a proper capture until now. Come hang out, watch some demos, enjoy a bunch of old favorites or discover something new!

cool show! framerate wasn't very stable though, hopefully the new OBS box will fix that :)
Guys, thank you SO MUCH for checking out the show! It was amazing to see so many ppl hanging out & having fun at something I put together.
Sorry if I missed a few good favorites, the original playlist was 5 hrs long so tough cuts had to be made. :( For the record ( @psenough ), spamming suggestions in the chat is TOTALLY welcome & I'll try to accomodate them if possible. I can always queue them up for the next one.
Regarding the framerate issues, I put together a new 60FPS streaming box THE NIGHT BEFORE and loaded a fresh OS on that I wasn't familiar with (latest Kubuntu) - don't do this! It seemed fine on Thursday night, but by Friday morning in testing it was apparent there were gonna be MAJOR issues if I ran the show on it. I had to emergency-switch to a laptop with an old dual-core i5/560m and bumped the stream down to 30FPS, but even then it was still running 60-70% CPU load the whole time. Lesson learned, next time I'll have that sorted better.
Again soooooo glad you guys had fun at the thing. I'm gonna do more of these, hopefully with more HW captures and better streaming setup. See ya there ;)

This was fun to do and preparing for next show already. Thank you all for the positive feedback, motivates us to continue. As Jay said, we are open for suggestions from you guys when we start preparing a next set.
