Not sure if I am really "smug" about it, but yeah, UC is happening next week. It is certainly not "after" COVID-19, as nobody knows if/when that's "over". But it's an attempt to make a demoparty safely happen even while Covid-19 is still out there.

Those of us from the Atari scene are hoping that Sillyventure 2k20 happens and according to the orga so far, it will be. We just need to get flights and other stuffs organized first ...

Oops, I forgot - there's also Outline 2020 in November, but that will just be a car drive away from us. We'll try our best to make it there.

I can (partially) confirm what Waffle said :
As we've announced it earlier ( Pouet thread, Twitter, Function etc.) Function will be held 2020.06.18 - 20 Budapest, Csokonai Kulturális Központ ( more information in the related events / threads). We have room and permissions for an indoor event up to 500 visitors.

Right now Hungary is open for all EU countries, plus Norway, Iceland, Lichtenstein, and we'd also promised to inform the audience about any changes.

There will be definitely no online version of Function ( of course this does not mean we won't stream the real "offline" party), so we encourage you to come to Hungary in September and visit us, as our party gets grown up this year!
