The compo will be held 14:00 at Boozembly on Saturday 8.8.2020
To compete, make a gabber tune with the following specs:

- 4 channel MOD, playable in Protracker v2.3D
- Maximum size: 500kB
- Maximum length: 3 minutes

Ten tunes will be presented and voted for at Boozembly on Saturday 8.8.2020. If we receive more than 10 tunes, we will hold a preselection. One entry per artist.

The Top 10 tunes will be included on a special Boozedrome compilation cassette, with all top 10 artists receiving a hand-numbered premium edition. Regular editions will be sold for 5 euros at Boozembly while supplies last.

Tunes will be in mono both in compo and on the cassette.

Remote entries welcome! If you're in the top-10 but are unable to attend Boozembly, the cassette will be mailed to you.

By participating you also give the organizers the permission to produce and sell physical copies of the compilation, with any possible profits going towards organizing the next competition and producing more physical releases.

Deadline for entries is July 19th 2020.

does boozedrome happen regardless of assembly moving?

we haven't decided on the specifics yet, but it's definitely still happening - just not necessarily on the original planned date. (but 100% in early august) we'll probably do the thing online too, but whether we do it from our office or the bzm hills remains to be seen. we'll keep you posted!!

Anyone has any pointers for converting xrns to mod? Looking into xrns2xmod right now, but it won't compile.

what do you mean? deadline is next week! I still haven;t started either, but damn straight i'll release something!

Also xrns 2 mod sounds like a terrible idea, just make a mod in protracker of ft2.

Mmm FT2 now that brings back memories.

@numtek: xrns2mod will lead to frustration and wasting time. However, you can use Renoise to make some nice samples and then made the composition in ProTracker (or another classical tracker like FastTracker II or MilkyTracker).
