Actually, it's not like the event hasn't been really-close-to-full before either, but people were a lot quicker to book their tickets now.

Too bad, guess a lot of the usual suspects, the guys who have supported the event the last years wont be able to enter this year . Sucks :(
I'm pretty sure I signed up for a rebound ticked twice now, but I havent gotten a reply as of yet.
So question...how will it work out for you if I show up with tent and everything, no in-hall seating, no indoors sleeping (do you still visitor tickets).
Basically not being a strain on the venue, but still being able to party(real party is. etc, etc)

oh, thanks for the hint o.o seems like the plane tickets are not necessary then, as we won't be allowed to travel to norway as tourists anyways ;)

Norway has not made any announcements on the situation after June 15th, but all (in-person) cultural events are cancelled up until that date.
this year is shit and I really need Solskogen to happen.
Then the news is out, Solskogen will be only online this year ..

I think it would be very sad to have Norway's last true demoscene party go out in an online-only event.
Brilliant moments in demoscene history happened here - like when Nosfe slept in a red car in front of a house where he didn't know anyone - or when Spexzter accidentally pee'd on Response's leg - or when 000berLugie (lug00ber) hammered the ball into someones face so his sunglasses flew off during a football match, etc. etc.
What if Solskogen 2020: Sunset was postponed to 2021, and we all concentrated really hard and pretended 2020 never happened?
