As we'll have to record all compos anyway this time, I figured why not directly upload all the entries to YouTube also.

So, if the time allows it (compo prep has priority of course) I'll upload and catalogue every single compo entry on a second Revision channel on YT. You can find it here:

If everything works according to plan you'll find playlists for the single compos soon after a compo ends. This applies to the demo/intro categories, Anim, Wild and Game.

Some of my recordings are 21:9 and / or 4k two things that the actual compo releases are not (due to the inability to predict how the hardware performs and how the output display handles 21:9) and I'd like to remain in the loop in regards to views / comments and the overall lifecycle and statistics.

So not being too familiar with sofascening, what kind of interaction will there be during the online party? TwitchChat, Discord, Slack, Telegram, IRC, BBS, SMS, TEXT-TV............what is hot, what is not. What will happen? Who, where, when?

LJ: We can do this after Easter (I'm planning to add pouet/demozoo links and edit away the desktop beginnings/endings etc anyway; linking to official vids or even replacing stuff in the playlist shouldn't be a problem) but the point about the recordings is that they show the entries as they ran in the compo on the actual machine, not a shinied up version that might have been emulated / rendered offline / postprocessed, etc.

If even that's not ok for you, please leave a message in Partymeister and ask us to either not include your entry in the playlist, or disable comments.

As for Pouet Youtube links, if there's an "official" video I strongly recommend linking to that one instead.

now throw that into Unity, use the twitch api to get the stream on a render texture and throw in the new XR Management+XR Interaction Toolkit package and the party is almost the same!

Something seems wrong with the upload of a custom "dosbox.conf" for 256b entry in the party meister. When i download it again, it's a zero byte file. The entry itself is downloaded correctly. Tried multiple times. So, is the download of said file broken, or the upload?

It would be incredibly cool if sofaworld.net had the 3D model of e-werk and you could go around there and see the other people watching the stream on the big screen together.
