This is sad. The right choice, of course, but still sad. Revision has always been one of the brightest highlights of the year for me.

Oh well. Nothing to do but make the best of a bad situation. Respect for still going on with it as an online event. See you at Skeneklubi, on IRC, and on the stream chatroom, for a Revision that will still kick ass!

A sad but wise decision. I'll use the travelingtime and such to work on my release for Outline instead. Also looking forward to the streaming-event!

Very sad news, but understandable decision. I am curious what the scene will now make, some sort of decentralized party event or something like that. A new experiment.

Also what dipswitch said. If there are financial losses, setup some donation - crowdfunding thingy. I guess the scene will support it.

Government would have cancelled (and flights, travelling) it most certainly anyway, unless something strange happends, so it's good for all to announce it now.

I booked through booking.com, free cancellation up to the 10th April

I will just try to switch my reservation to 2o21 :D

As for flights - Lufthansa are allowing rebooking up to the end of the year, provided the actual flight path doesn't change, so I'm considering Evoke..

Aaaaw - yeah, this was pretty much the only right thing to do, given how things have evolved over the last couple of weeks.

I was "allowed" to go (by my family), as my 40th birthday gift, and I'm worried if I'll get the chance next year again ;)

Let me know if there's anything I or the rest of the DUB/TRSAC gang can do to help out with the online event or anything else related.

Thank you for doing your absolute best in general, and for pulling off an online event in particular! I'll be looking into setting up a small shadow party for sure.

Sad to hear this, hopefully this doesn't cause any major financial troubles for the organizers (or visitors)! I've visited every year a German Easter party since the Breakpoint times, so this year Easter feels waaaaay more emptier than usual. I'm very glad that there will be an online stream to fill the little void in my soul, thank you for doing it <3

P.s. I'm currently finding huge irony in this year's theme: "Welcome Home" :D

...oh but anyway I'm still planning to travel to Saarbrooklyn. So who's up for a shadowparty? :D
