Lotek style , my dear friend

I've sent many mails and you didnt answer ... i've asked you many times to stop what you're doing with my accounts on Demozoo and what you're doing with my artworks , you've locked everything without even a mail or a good raison

My question : With Demozoo , i've lost all my rights about all i've done ? Is it the way this website works ?

To others , do you think you lose your rights about your productions and demozoo makes what they want about them ?

If you don't want to lose control of your works, then don't release them to the public.

Some infos are wrong on Demozoo and Lotek dont let me make correct modifications about my own profil and my productions ... i think i better know what i've done than him no ?

doesnt demozoo use sceneid just like pouet? how can you be blocked from demozoo and not pouet? O_o

Yeah. But SceneID on Demozoo is optional (like what I have)

...Just because you have a SceneID doesn't mean you can't get banned from a site.

It's very very seldom that we resort to disabling someone's account and locking profiles from further editing. I think it's come to that like three times in the past, and this is one of them. So, just to be clear: The reason c-rem can't login and edit his profile is because of site vandalism.

The point of having a contact ability that is neither personal nor behind a login of some sort is valid, and we're currently looking into adding something like that.

"Site vandalism"..? Srsly? All I can see in his account history is that he tried to remove his own credits, group connections and so on. That was a lot of changes, no doubt, but it's all clearly focused on his own history and no other part of your site whatsoever.

havoc.. according to GDPR you have right to request data about yourself and you can request to remove it.. I know.. this is a community site which legally saying may not be applicable to all that EU crap, never the less. If the guy was trying to remove all information about himself, aside of being hectic, I give him moral right to try.

Somewhat related, I think, but I'm not a lawyer and even the example mentioned is for a "public person", so shrug. But I think that documenting history of something is relevant here, and demozoo does not include much if any direct "personal" information like real name or so without permission of the person in question.

"nickname X is credited for graphics on release Y" is not personal data. Deleting factual information about your own releases is vandalism just as much as trashing any other data is.
