I've heard that Etelä-Hämeen Puhelin Oy is looking to buy JumaCon event for their excessive esports portfolio
There's currently some negotiations on-going regarding Etelä-Hämeen Puhelin Oy buying 51% of Jumalauta Event Organizing GmbH shares. Jumalauta Event Organizing GmbH is a subsidiary of the Jumalauta Holding Company (NYSE: JHC, OMX: JML).

As the negotiations are still on-going, it's too early to tell what will happen to the Jumalauta demoparties. We're having a mutual understanding that demoscene is still a priority.
Some eSports events like "Everybody's John" and "QBasic game dev" competitions will be held already this year to see how our established participants will feel about the upcoming changes.
