I know some squatters who took that argument so literally that they did their utmost best to not take part in society, so that they could criticize it without being hypocrites. Obviously nobody listened but that's another story :D

As a matter of fact, I also discussed with the two aforementioned sceners whether Gargaj has adopted Marxist views, but in the end we came to the conclusion that Gargaj probably has no proper ideological training and if he expresses Marxist views from time to time, that's just a coincidence.
I find this funny how some people use the words "Marxism", "Socialism" and "Left" in a pejorative way, as if they were prohibited or truly proven wrong.
