It seems what was known as Amiga Scene, and Scene in general, has become as C64 phenomena.

I suggest a Retro c64 tracker, with 3 sid channels and 3 sample channels, for compos, for authentic retro "scene" feel.

There already is a 2 channel sid + 4 channel digi tracker out there (you need one sid channel to play back the digis at high quality, volume register isn't good enough) LMan and others use it but it's not public. Have a look at the 'Vicious Sid' demos for examples of it.

emhasis in sampoles and deemphasis could be done with the filter also, if using a voice.

Basically perfecting something like this probably would be a scene ultimate, with 32K compos.
