Did the twitch stream had compo machine sound capture issues, or was our 256b intro really shown without sound? Because the latter would be really sad.
This is how it is supposed to look and sound like.

provod: it had no sound on the stream and the commentator said "it has no sound" as well.

sensenstahl: that is unfortunate. I guess I should've been more descriptive in my remote submission message to orgas, that the sound is essential. I trusted too much on the fact that I've verified that it basically works with 0.74 and 0.74-2 official binary releases of dosbox on windows with default config on several different machines, and that there should be no issues with the sound at all.

Now it is very likely that nobody will ever experience it on a big screen with a fat sound system :(.

Which one was yours?
We re-ran the whole 256byte intro compo because of a partymeister problem and the sound from the compomachine was on on the second round.
I'm pretty sure that the sound was played for all entries in the second round. And sorry again for the fuckup.

Sorry, yes it was played without sound in the compo.
We seriously need to fix our compo-handling for the 256byte entries next time. :/
We will play it again after the prizegiving compo, so that atleast everybody can see & hear it the way it's supposed to be.

v3nom: it was "somehow" by fsqrt/jetlag and it was silent, just re-watched the stream :)
