It's time for the Final Cruise as ORP Riverwash is sailing to meet its fate. Come and join us aboard this fine steamboat to enjoy the biggest Polish multiplatform party for the last time.
Despite strictly non-commercial, 100% demoscene formula, the cruise is free for everybody. Yes, no tickets! You can still expect to get breakfast, there will be concerts, compos and all the fun a demoparty should offer. There's a sleeping area, a restaurant/pub within the same venue and a nice garden with an outside screen to enjoy the party while relaxing. We accept entries for all platforms, yet we run everything on real hardware. Katowice is a major town in Southern Poland with convenient motorway access and two nearby airports (25 and 100 km). The party place is located 500 metres from the train/international bus station.

Wiklund started composing music in 2008 with his old dusty gameboys and later discovered the possibilities of other consoles. He has been making music for numerous games and demoscene productions.

And getting from Kraków to Katowice is very, very easy. Indeed, no excuse! :-)
Falcon is a composer and music producer. He began composing music at a very young age, using 8-bit Atari. From 1993 he was active on the PC demoscene in such groups as Substance and Pulse, among others. During that time, he composed over 100 modules, mainly using the legendary Fast Tracker II. The most popular are soundtracks to such demos as Sunflower (Pulse), Tribes (Pulse & Melon Dezign) or Zilog (Pulse).
From 1997, he co-founded the Aural Planet formation, with which he produced 6 full-length LPs containing a wide spectrum of electronic music sounds.
He was involved with the demoscene until 2001, when he engaged into commercial activities. He is the author of two studio albums of an electronic group called Husky and soundtracks for games produced by the Infinite Dreams and Vivid Games studios.
Currently he is a co-host of the Institute of Low Temperatures - a radio program dedicated to new sounds, broadcast by RAM Radio Wrocław.
Falcon will present a DJ set on Friday during the Final Cruise.

i will be there! only problem i have is finding a save harbour for 'my summer car' during the party.
There's a guarded car park here, 10 minutes walk from the party place, 20 PLN (5 EUR) a day. I have no idea if they have free places.

Hello hello, I am finally coming to Riverwash again!
Just one problem: I need a place to stay. Are there any locals that have some room to share? I will arrive on Thursday the 30. of August and leave on Tuesday the 4. of September. I don't need much, just a sofa or enough floor space for a sleeping bag.
Alternatively, if someone wants to share a room there is a nice looking 2-person AirBNB available right around the corner from the party location, and it's pretty cheap. Anyone interested?

My flight is ultra-early, I need to take the shuttle bus to the airport around 2:00 at night. So no point renting a bed for that night - anyone feel like hanging out?
Also, anyone want to meet up Thursday evening? I am thinking about visiting the local hackerspace in Katowice and then maybe go grab a beer or two.
