The bracket is filled, the organization is underway. It is an old-school knock out phase system with a wild card/alternate construction.

The first test match will be held in September or, possibly, a month later, at the Unity Copenhagen office on a Friday evening and streamed live. The test match will be between ReJ and Superplek. This is mostly for testing purposes, but we will have voting online and an idea for the result that I won't disclose yet. But it'll be fun and confusing.

Quarterfinals will thereafter be planned at demoparties whenever possible, and from there on we'll see. It will span from late 2018 until the very end of 2019.

I know not everybody appreciates Facebook so I'll post meaningful updates here. Coming first: the test match in Copenhagen, when and how to view it live: in a seat right there or from home.

Hope you appreciate it, (most of) the participants do and we'll go a bit off script to make it an event that's different than the great Shader Showdown - obviously the daddy of this whole idea.

We have liftoff in a few months. The wildcard versus the loudmouth in a test match. It would be criminal to schedule of those other kids on the roster for a test flight.

Try to catch a stream of Nordlicht-Demoparty, if there´ll be one and you want to see what another loudmouth (see your facebook-ShaderSuperfights-Group; what i posted there about "easier competitor") is able to do, even with "given textures" (won´t use em!) and all the lameness ShaderShowdown had to offer (so far to you) ! ;)

You still want me to HAVE EVEN MORE QUALITY in your shader-superfights! ;) (and i will make use of custom-textures then and rule even more! :D ;) )

The first match, barring unforeseen circumstances, will be a preliminary bout between me and ReJ at Compusphere (pending approval). The actual competition will commence in 2019. Also I have no idea what type of message you're trying to get across Hardy, but PM me with something more coherent if you want :)
