Shader Showdown 2018: Ready, set, go!
We'd like to thank everyone who responded to our call for competitors a few weeks ago. The preselection process is now in full swing, and it's proven to be unexpectedly tough, thanks again to the many talented folks who decided to volunteer to compete.
Because the preselection process has started, we will not accept further applications to compete in 2018. However, if you'd like to volunteer to compete in 2019, or if you have questions for the Shader Showdown organizing team, you can reach us via hotline-2018@revision-party.net.

- before the party we'll provide some cheatsheet-PDFs with airport- and shuttle information so that you have everything at hand
- shuttles at the airport will carry signs so you can spot them easily
- upon arrival at the party people from our staff will wait and you have to pay for the trip (30€ on all shuttles, please have this at hand)
- return tickets are sold at the infodesk. If you registered, our staff will have you on their lists. If you registered for multiple people, please keep in mind that you also have to buy the return tickets for all of them at once! We recommend to buy the tickets early so that you don't have to worry about them during the event or even after the prizegiving!
- free spots on the return buses will also be for sale at the party in a first come-first serve manner

One thing I forgot: If you haven't got a shuttle assigned for one or all of your flights: we're sorry, that means we can't provide a shuttle as too few people have flights around that point in time.
We recommend to check for alternative transports early. There are still some chances that we can add another shuttle if more people contact us that need one, but be prepared that this might as well not happen.
