any flash programmers
category: code [glöplog]
will paypal you $20 to make a simple application for me. trying to remake the stupid thing in php/javascript/css. but it would look better as just a flash app. it's not a complicated program but i haven't done any of this stuff for about 3 years. i figure someone here could get it done alot faster than i can at the moment. there are 2 more parts that need to be added on like a concent form which needs to get their name and let them continue if they concented to do it and there is some demographic questions at the end and then it saves the results to a database and thats it. here is the original program i am copying from she can't use this one because it is not on a website for the whole class to use.
here is the application in executable form. it was originally made in a program called adobe authorware 7. also i can email all the resources from this project to you.

thank you for your time.

first i thought you're looking for something like this ;-)
oh no adobe flash and it doesn't have to be flash either. silverlight or anything i can host on a linux server.
$20?
my sister said she can pitch in another $30 if she had too.
it's just a black and white application. i also have all resources to the application.
not sure what anyones costs are. but, make me a reasonable deal.
extended deadline: it has be be done at the end of the month. so you have 31 days? is the pricing any better?
I read your post and all I got was "20$ to do an application for me, actually my sister, store some stuff in database thats it. plz download and execute some windows app from my onedrive account to know what I actually need to get done. Oh and the thing will be hosted on the funpic equivalent of 2017"
If you describe what you need maybe we can point you to an already existing solution out there, if there's none and its like a <=1 hour thing I might do it for a revision ticket + t shirt ;)

ok, well the application is sort of a memory test it has images and it shows the user the images and randomizes them it when it shows the images they have as much time as they want to look at the images and then it goes to the next page and randomizes the images to and they have to select the ones that changed with a time limit first it has a demo of this and then it has the same thing with more images and then it randomizes them again with a test they can take up to 5 times to determine all the images that changed. btw the application on my one drive was made by the adobe authorware 7 app.
located here: http://opl.apa.org/Developers/DownloadCode.aspx
and here is information about it. http://opl.apa.org/Experiments/About/AboutObjectLocationMemory.aspx
how much is a revision ticket and a t shirt?

also the adobe authorware 7 app is on my one drive if you'd like to compile it yourself.
so $84.23?
$15.79 - shirt
68.44 - ticket

flash in 2017? O_O
i was doing this in php/css/javascript and flash is still usable. so why not. it doesn't have to be in flash. it just need to work and work on a linux server as intended. i don't care what it's done it. but i haven't done anything in php, css, or javascript for about 3 years and if you can do it your way that will work. but flash will make it look like a single application and so will silverlight instead of my 5 php pages with css and javascript atm.
it has to be usable by her class and that's about it. it's not something that is going to be online for an extended amount of time or anything. it's just temporary until my sister graduates.
but it does have to work as intended and be usable.
I just dont have a windows PC at hand right now, and I dont know flash but I could easily do it as a neat web app.
So if I understand correctly:
First step is probably a description of the problem "look at these images, memorize their positions, on the next page mark the pictures whose position has changed".
According to the desciption on the website we then present a one dimensional, linear image strip with 10 images "memorize the position of these images", next we shuffle the images and expect the user to mark the ones that have changed positions(what happens if the user fails here?). In your post you say this is just a demo[insert scene related joke here], so do you want to automagically solve this practice to "show the user what to do", or do you want it to be a practice step like described and on the website?
Once the trial/demo is over we do the same with 27 images, the user has unlimited time to pick the images that have changed, but only a maximum of 5 attempts to find all swapped images. Then we store what exactly in the database? The number of tries it took the user and maximum percentage of swapped images detected? Whats the logic for swapping images, how many are allowed to be swapped? If we just use a pseudo random redistribution of the images we might end up swapping all of them, maybe we end up swapping only one.
Storing the results in a database is fine and all but how do you want to access that data? Is there a need to make sure its unique users doing the test?
According to the revision website a ticket is 65€ and a t-shirt is another 15€ = 80€ but judging by the fact that I'll probably already have to invest like 2 hours(from which 45 minutes went into this thread already) just to gather information detailed enough to actually get starting on this I feel like we'll not come together on this. Maybe look if you can find someone from a 3rd world country on one of that freelancer websites who will do it for a few bucks and change.

it's a practice step but they have to get all of them correct to continue if they didn't get all of them correct it resets.
in the database it would be under their name, how many attempts it took them, and how long it took them, i guess along with how many they got right and wrong.
personally i just care that some are swapped and the user has to guess which ones. (or you can just look at the executable file i posted a link to) it basically is the program.
i have access to the mysql database on the site and will just dump the database. i guess so i guess you wouldn't want normal users to take the test twice either or use the go back button in the browser to get a better score on the test.
well point me to one of those third world coutry free lancer websites and i guess i'll go from there.

at this rate i might just be doing it myself.
good thing for the extended deadline because i was figuring i had to had it done by the end of the day.

wow that's disrespectful, should've guessed this when you were too lazy to look up what a revision ticket costs in the first place...
disrespectful? but i did look it up?
